1993-1997 Cambridge University, Corpus Christi College. PhD Japan’s Foreign- Economic Policy Initiatives to the European Union.

Research Interests:

The evolution of the political and economic relationship between the European Union and Japan. The European automotive market and the economic integration of the European Union. Public affairs at the European Union level. Chinese accession to the WTO and EU-China trade relations.

Work Experience:
1987-1988 / 1990-1991. Teacher then Principal at the Pioneer Language School, Fujinomiya, Japan.
