The Policy Analysis Center at the George
Mason School of Public Policy seeks advanced solutions to today's information
technology problems
to help achieve efficiency in the marketplace.
The center works with industry partners such as Microsoft Corp. SAP
America, and Oracle Corp.
to develop enterprise software that helps
facilitate supply chains, business-to-business ventures, and electronic
commerce generally.
The
Policy Analysis Center has worked
with many clients, including the
U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, Oracle
and Boeing Corp., on issues relating
to the economic, social, and technical
aspects of advanced business software
technology, enterprise integration,
integrated process engineering, and
the assessment and transfer of technology.
The center routinely hosts workshops
and seminars on issues relating to
electronic commerce on its campuses
and in foreign locations such as
Taiwan, Peru and Germany.
Past
projects include the establishment
of an aviation exchange trading hub
for the government of Taiwan and
a high-level public sector Enterprise
Business Systems Implementation research
project sponsored by CSC.
