The Policy Analysis Center at the George Mason School of Public Policy seeks advanced solutions to today's information technology problems to help achieve efficiency in the marketplace. The center works with industry partners such as Microsoft Corp. SAP America, and Oracle Corp. to develop enterprise software that helps facilitate supply chains, business-to-business ventures, and electronic commerce generally.

The Policy Analysis Center has worked with many clients, including the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, Oracle and Boeing Corp., on issues relating to the economic, social, and technical aspects of advanced business software technology, enterprise integration, integrated process engineering, and the assessment and transfer of technology. The center routinely hosts workshops and seminars on issues relating to electronic commerce on its campuses and in foreign locations such as Taiwan, Peru and Germany.

Past projects include the establishment of an aviation exchange trading hub for the government of Taiwan and a high-level public sector Enterprise Business Systems Implementation research project sponsored by CSC.
