Hazel MD Professor of Public Policy Message from the Dean The George Mason School of Public Policy has a proud tradition of scholarship and a well-deserved reputation for making real contributions to the betterment of our world. Since its inception, the School has strived for excellence, both in the classroom and in its research, and its world-renowned faculty and talented students meet this challenge every day with drive, dedication, and a passion for affecting change. The School is a leader in policy studies, particularly with respect to international commerce, regional economic development, global peacemaking, transportation, and the implications of science and technology on those areas and more.
