Professor Zoltan Acs and Catherine Armington’s book, Entrepreneurship, Geography, and American Economic Growth, was published by Cambridge University Press.

Kevin Fendl’s (PhD) article, “Recalibrating the War on Terror by Enhancing Development Practices in the Middle East,” was published in the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law (16 Duke J. of Comp. & Int'l L. 299). It is accessible online, click here.

Professor Frank T. Manheim published an article in the April issue of Geotimes, the earth science professional newsmagazine. The article compared mining and environmental policy in the United States and Sweden. The article can be found by clicking here.

Manheim also published an article in the June-July issue of U.S. Black Engineer. The article revealed results buried for 50 years concerning black high schools that excelled in science. Along with other Mason faculty, Manheim is exploring initiatives for expanded research on African American educational history.

Professor John Warfield’s book, An Introduction to Systems Science, was published by World Scientific Publishing Company.
