Professor Steve Ruth penned a piece called "E-Learning: A Financial and Strategic Perspective," about how academic institutions can shape their long-term strategies when it comes to profiting from e-learning, which appeared in Educause Quarterly. He also collaborated with Dr. Elisa Bertino of Purdue University on an article called "Policies and IT Technologies: A Puzzle of Two Pieces," which appeared in the January/February issue of Internet Computing.

Professor Michael Fauntroy appeared on “The Kojo Nnamdi Show” (88.5 FM) on January 19, discussing D.C. representation in Congress.

John Casey, a member of the Mason Enterprise Center, wrote an article called “Zen and the Art of M&A,” which was included as a feature piece in the most recent Business Ventures Quarterly Newsletter.

Professor John E. Petersen, in his January Finance column for Governing magazine, wrote about pension fund managers, who have recently been frustrated by the slow growth of traditional investments and therefore tempted by the snappy returns of alternatives.
