Professor at SPP, its Exceptional Service Medal. “It
was awarded to me as one of the team members of
the NASA-Russian Space Agency Advisory Committee
on the safety of human spaceflight,” says
Nicogossian. “I was given the award for how
I contributed to the research of operational safety
for human exploration missions, and for promoting
U.S.-Russian cooperation in space research and
operation.”
