WEDEL FOUNDS ANTHROPOLOGY INTEREST GROUP
Professor Janine Wedel co-founded the Interest Group for the Anthropology of Public Policy, recently accepted by the American Anthropological Association to be affiliated with the larger organization.

ESQUIRE NAMES PROFESSOR ONE OF THE “BEST & BRIGHTEST”
Esquire magazine named Professor Richard Florida one of its “Best & Brightest” in its December 2005 issue.

DAVID HART’S KAUFFMAN GRANT
Professor David Hart, whose research focuses on how private and public actors craft policies together, recently won a grant from the Kauffman Foundation that will enable him to study entrepreneurs engaged with the policy process.

ZOLTAN ACS: A LEADER IN THE FIELD OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Professor Zoltan Acs, a leading advocate of the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation as an engine of economic growth, recently joined the faculty of SPP.

WELCOMING ANDREW F. KREPINEVICH
This spring, SPP welcomes Andrew F. Krepinevich, the Executive Director of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, to to the school as a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Public Policy.

NEW FACULTY MEMBER: RAMKISHEN S. RAJAN
SPP welcomes Professor Ramkishen S. Rajan, who specializes in International Economic Policy and is particularly interested in the developing Asia-Pacific region.
