The Heritage Foundation recently
awarded doctoral candidate Shanea Watkins a research
internship which will allow her to finish her
study of the impact of Charter Schools on the
achievement gap.
SPP GRADUATE: CULTURAL EXCHANGE
AMBASSADOR
Thomas Ammazzalorso, a graduate of SPP who received
his MA in International Commerce and Policy
in May 2004 and teaches World History in the
DC public
high school system, was recently selected to
participate as a teacher in a program that sends educators
to Saudi Arabia.

hosted a launch event to celebrate
the release of a new book—“Muslim
Civic Cultures and Conflict Resolution”—by
Clarence Robinson Professor John Paden.  PFIFFNER’S
