More than 200 SPP Students to Graduate

More than 200 SPP Master’s and Ph.D. students will receive their degrees during the school’s convocation, which will take place on Friday, May 20, in the Center for the Arts on the Fairfax campus. In addition, 45 faculty members will participate in the procession. Congressman Frank Wolf will be the Keynote Speaker.

Wolf will also receive a Founders Award from SPP. This honor is awarded on an occasional basis to individuals who have participated in the development of the school over an extended period of time. “Congressman Wolf is receiving this award in recognition of his support of our National Center for the Deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems, the Telework and Training Centers operated by the Mason Enterprise Center, the Critical Infrastructure Protection Project operated by the School of Law in which SPP has played a major role as a research partner, and his overall support for partnership between SPP's Center for Regional Analysis and the Northern Virginia region,” according to Senior Associate Dean Jim Finkelstein.
