While all doctoral students are assigned faculty advisors with whom they create their research agenda, the PhD Academic Advising Office staff provides all doctoral students support and advice with scheduling, university requirements, general programmatic questions, and other administrative matters. PhD Handbooks and Forms
Doctoral program resources include yearly publication of PhD handbooks and forms. These comprehensive guides include most of the requirements and rules pertaining to the Doctoral Program in Public Policy at George Mason University.

A helpful FAQ, the PhD Milestone Guide has been developed to guide doctoral students through key steps in the degree process, such as what comes after completion of the field exam, and defending a dissertation proposal.
