    Center Description
The Center for Aerospace Policy Research conducts sponsored research, independent research, conferences, seminars, and short courses. Many of the programs examine data about space exploration, recommend policies to further space research and promote a better understanding of possibilities for the private and public sectors.

Housed in the School of Public Policy's Center for Transportation, Logistics and Operations, the Aerospace Center draws substantially on SPP faculty expertise in aerospace, aviation, technology policy, governance, and international commerce.

Faculty have received grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Science Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and are Fulbright Scholars and Mellon Fellowship recipients.

In 2009 and 2010, the School’s 45 faculty produced 16 books, 78 book chapters, 23 edited volumes, and 203 refereed journal articles.
