In addition to scholarships, federal assistance, and school assistance, students may qualify for special in-state tuition rates as outlined in The Academic Common Market (ACM).
The Academic Common Market is an interstate agreement among southern states for sharing academic programs. Participating states enable their residents who qualify for admission to enroll in specific graduate programs in other states without having to pay out-of-state tuition.
Participating states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The School of Public Policy has four programs which are part of the Academic Common Market: Master of Public Policy, International Commerce and Policy, Organization Development and Knowledge Management, and Peace Operations.
