Mason Alert
In the event of a campus or community emergency, students will be contacted using Mason Alert, an automated system that sends text messages to a student's cell phone, e-mail, pager or pda. Students must register for this service.
Cancellations
In the event of closing or cancellation of classes, the university posts information at www.gmu.edu and with the university switchboard at 703-993-1000.
